To provide adequate time for final services, billing, account access, and any necessary transition of digital assets, the following cancellation policy applies.

30-Day Notice Is Required

Search SEO Chicago requires a minimum of 30 days’ notice to cancel or reduce services.

Cancellation requests should be submitted at the beginning of the month to allow sufficient time to complete the final service and billing cycle.

During this period, Search SEO Chicago will continue providing the services included in your current agreement unless other arrangements have been made in writing.

Final Month of Service

Your final 30-day period is an active month of service and will be billed according to your existing agreement.

Our team will continue performing the applicable digital marketing services during this period, which may include SEO, social media management, content creation, website management, email marketing, digital advertising, or other contracted services.

This approach helps prevent an abrupt interruption to your marketing while allowing time to prepare for the transition.

Account Access & Permissions

Search SEO Chicago may be granted access to various client-owned platforms while providing digital marketing services.

Depending on your services, these may include:

• Website administration
• Hosting or domain accounts
• Google Business Profile
• Google Analytics
• Social media accounts
• Email marketing platforms
• Other third-party services

At the conclusion of our services, Search SEO Chicago will remove our access from applicable client-owned accounts and platforms once the transition is complete.

We strongly recommend that clients confirm they have current administrator access, usernames, passwords, recovery information, and any other credentials necessary to manage their accounts before the end of the cancellation period.

Website, Content & Digital Asset Transition

If Search SEO Chicago manages your website, content, graphics, or other digital assets, we will work with you to facilitate an orderly transition of applicable client-owned materials and access.

If another marketing company, website developer, or internal team will be taking over, please provide the appropriate contact information and access requirements as early as possible during the cancellation period.

Providing this information promptly helps minimize potential interruptions to your website and digital marketing.

Third-Party Services & Subscriptions

Some digital marketing services may involve third-party platforms, software, hosting, advertising accounts, subscriptions, licenses, or other services.

Clients are responsible for reviewing which third-party services they wish to continue after their relationship with Search SEO Chicago ends.

Where appropriate, we will help identify services or accounts that may require attention during the transition.

Reducing or Changing Services

The 30-day notice requirement also applies when a client requests a significant reduction or cancellation of individual recurring services.

If your marketing needs have changed but you do not want to discontinue your relationship with Search SEO Chicago entirely, contact us. We may be able to adjust your services to better fit your current goals and budget.
